About

“So, do you want to be a lawyer or a music artist?”,  “Going after a law career will not leave you any time to do music so you are going to have to choose” – These types of questions and sentiments I am all too familiar with hearing. I am a paralegal working in an in-house legal team practising commercial and media law, and I am a singer/songwriter who loves fashion.

“So, do you want to be a lawyer or a music artist?” “Going after a law career will not leave you any time to do music so you are going to have to choose”

Having completed my masters in law, whilst juggling work and doing music was some of the hardest years of my life but also the most rewarding and transforming. I completed a total of six years of legal studies, created and released my debut EP ‘Adore You’, and was lucky enough to headline shows and continue to perform at other gigs. Musically, a highlight of my career was opening for PJ Morton in London.

After graduating from my masters, I took a leap of faith and started my fashion blog ‘Wheresitfromdom’ via instagram (@dominiques.wardobe).

I’ll be the first to admit that adulthood hit me hard, with challenges that most of us face, but challenges that are rarely talked about on the internet or social media. I created this website because I want to inspire and empower you to win by sharing the highs, the lows, the why and the how of my journey through my lifestyle, faith, fashion and travel blogs.

My goal is to demystify the grind of having a 9-5 and big dreams. I wish to promote a culture where we inspire, uplift and encourage each other.
