Dominique Octave

Dominique Octave is a South-London born singer-songwriter who can be characterised by her warm tone and message-focussed writing, which is influenced by and combines gospel, jazz, electro-soul and hip hop.

Dominique grew up immersed in the world of music, playing keyboard and trumpet from a young age and listening to the likes of Fred Hammond, Erykah Badu, Dwele and A Tribe Called Quest. Dominique emerged on to the music scene in 2017 releasing her three part single ‘You Make Me’ accompanied with her debut music video. Following this release, the artist released her first project in 2019 entitled ‘Adore You’.

The ‘Adore You’ EP, written from a place of candid sincerity reflects on Dominique’s love for God, depicts her lessons in love and self-discovery, and expresses the challenge of mental health in establishing oneself in this modern day climate. After the release of the EP, Dominique went on to do a headline show with Emerald Live and an intimate jazz experience with COGG LDN.

Having started 2020 supporting PJ Morton in London – a highlight of Dominique’s music career thus far – the artist looks forward to being on stage and releasing more music.
